Idaho Falls is lucky to have a beautiful park for residents to enjoy. The Greenbelt on the Snake River provides plenty of activities for young and old alike. Walk the five-mile trail across the river through beautiful scenery. Make sure to stop at the 600-foot waterfall Idaho Falls was named after! You’ll love wandering through the McClure Flower Garden or the Art Museum of Eastern Idaho when you need to step out of the sun. The whole family can take advantage of the playground areas, disc golf course, and fishing spots. Don’t forget to bring your lunch and make use of the picnic shelters! You can plan your visit here.
Nighttime at the Greenbelt is just as fun. Every Tuesday evening through August from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., you can enjoy a free concert. The EIRMC River Concert Series brings a different artist or group each week. You’ll find the stage between D & E on Memorial Drive. Bring dinner to enjoy an evening out. Don’t forget a blanket or chair for your comfort. For more information, click here or view the individual event pages for each performance here.
